Holidays to Sardinia shouldn't just be spent on the sand, there are countless things to do in Sardinia without going to the beach.

Horse ride

Discover Sardinia on horseback: guided tours on horseback or a romantic trot along kilometres of beautiful beaches or through the wild maquis - an intense and unforgettable way to explore the island with one of Europe’s last herds of wild horses.

Yacht Hire

Boats can be hired privately, skippered or as part of a large group of tourists. The tourist group boats, which are the least cost, are located along the Marina at Alghero.

Diving

There are number of PADI dive centres on the northern coasts. The closest are at Alghero and Costa Paradiso.

Cycle

Bella Biking are close by and can arrange some wonderful cycling experiences as well as private bike rentals.

Climb

Ivan can provide a range of different climbing experiences for complete novices and families. If you have never climbed before, don't worry, it is very safe and fantastic family experience. The Vita Ferrata, Trekking or Canyoning are great options to consider.

Hiking

Gola di Gorropu is Europe's largest canyon. It provides the settings for one of the most spectacular hikes in Europe. The scenery provides a complete contrast to the coast and can only be described as breath takeningly spectacular.

Historic Tours

There are a number of tours, which operate out of Alghero, which can take you to some of the world famous ancient historic sites. Neptunes Grotto just outside Alghero is a great place to take the family.
